Make Health Your #1 Priority. If You Do, You'll Be a Better Entrepreneur.

Bryan Johnson is a serial entrepreneur who made hundreds of millions of dollars from the sale of his payment-processing company, Braintree, which had acquired Venmo. Now, he's dedicated to hacking the human body to slow or even reverse aging.

Bryan Johnson is a one-of-a-kind type of guy.

He explains that when he was 21, he was determined to make a difference in the world.

So he figured that step number one was to make a lot of money.

Now, He's All About Health

"I'm Chronologically 47, but I'm Biologically 18 Years Old" (Paraphrasing)

Bryan claims that some of his biological measurements are comparable to those of an 18-year-old:

  • Cardiovascular ability: Age 18

  • Lung capacity: Age 18

  • Telomeres (chromosomes): Age 18

  • Certain body functions: Comparable to an 18-year-old

These are Bryan's claims about individual health measurements, not proof that his entire body has the biological age of an 18-year-old.

His #1 Advice to Entrepreneurs

"Make health your number one priority."

"Because if you do so, you're going to be in peak performance. The difference between being healthy and unhealthy when you're thinking is like night and day."

Bryan's Controversial Health Opinion!

"WE ARE THE FIRST GENERATION THAT WON'T DIE."

"There's no reason we couldn't think in terms of hundreds or even thousands of years. If you look at the speed at which AI is improving and the medical advancements coming in the next few decades, we'll be able to extend our lifespans."

This is Bryan's prediction about the future of longevity, not an established scientific fact.

Health Advice From Bryan

1. Sleep Is #1

There's nothing more important than sleep.

Bryan puts sleep at the top of his health priorities, emphasizing its importance for performance and well-being.

2. Clean Food, Water, and Products

"Common items like packaged foods often contain heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and lead. They also have agrochemicals like glyphosate. Almost everything we eat has some form of contamination.

We've been testing everything ourselves, and it's shocking how widespread the contamination is.

So now, we're working on sourcing and testing our own food to ensure it's free from harmful chemicals and truly clean."

These comments reflect Bryan's concerns about contamination. The presence of trace substances does not necessarily mean a food or product is unsafe; exposure levels matter.

The Business Lesson

Your health is one of your most important business assets.

Bryan Johnson's message to entrepreneurs is simple: making money shouldn't come at the expense of your health.

Prioritizing sleep, nutrition, and long-term well-being can help you maintain the energy and focus needed to run a business.

Build your business, but don't forget to take care of the person building it.
