Banks Said No. Landlords Said No. He Built It Anyway.

Charles once slept in his car with a dream of opening a car audio shop. But without funding or credibility, every door slammed shut. Then he discovered franchising—a blueprint-backed path that gave him the leverage he needed.

He started with a single auto franchise. Then another. Then ten.

But that was just the beginning.

The $100M Pivot That Changed Everything

In 2006, Charles bought the rights to a small six-store brand called Tint World. At the time, each store made just $300K–$400K a year.

Today?

Tint World is approaching $130 million in annual system-wide sales, with 150 locations across four countries—and 100 more in development.

From window tint and paint protection to ceramic coatings, wraps, marine audio, and even residential services, Charles transformed a simple tint shop into a full-scale automotive styling empire.

His 3 Non-Negotiables for Success

  1. Momentum is everything. Lose it, and it’s nearly impossible to regain.

  2. Build leaders, not employees. “Build your team, and your team builds your business.”

  3. Avoid shiny objects. The moment you chase distractions, you stall growth.

Charles didn’t just build stores—he built systems, culture, and scale.

And he’s still first in, last out.
